The Greenway Conservancy is offering the public a chance to honor their mother, caregiver, or mentor and to provide support for the care of the Greenway.
Your paver will be placed in a walkway located on the harbor side of the Wharf District Parks on the Greenway. The Mothers' Walk begins near the intersection of Cross Street and Atlantic Avenue and winds its way south to Rowes Wharf.
Once your paver has been installed, you will be notified via email or phone. At that time, you will also be provided a link to the Mothers’ Walk website that has a paver location system by which you can find your paver on the Mothers’ Walk. We cannot guarantee a specific location.
Pavers are installed in the order which they are purchased. Installation is limited to fair, warm-weather days and is highly dependent on variables such as weather and ease of paver placement. Typically, there is a 6 month wait, depending on the time of year you purchase a paver.
The size of the paver is 6"x6". Each paver costs $500.
They look great! Pavers are high-quality, concrete pavers with a texturized surface. Your inscription is engraved and then filled with charcoal litho-chrome paint for readability and long life.
You can put the name of the person you are dedicating the paver to, a date, and one of the pre-selected statements.
In keeping with the community character of the program, logos are currently prohibited in the Mothers' Walk.
